Dr. Lica Ecaterina is a highly experienced dermatology specialist and an expert in the field of aesthetic medicine. She is the CEO of the renowned aesthetic clinic, «Doctor Lica», Medical Director of Pressensa Company in Spain and the owner of “Lider Beauty” company.
She graduated from The University of Chisinau in 2002, and pursued postgraduate training in dermatology at the State Medical University of Moldova. Since then, she has dedicated her career to the field of cosmetic dermatology, where she has established a reputation as a leader and innovator.
In 2012, Dr Lica launched the Beauty Academy and in 2020 the International On-Line Academy Lica.Doctor, a world-class training facility where she shares her expertise with other practitioners from around the globe. Through her academy, she has trained countless physicians in the latest techniques for Injectable Botulinum toxins, Hyaluronic Acid Fillers, and other cosmetic procedures.
As a lecturer at the International Independent University of Moldova (ULIM), she teaches a course on biomedicine at the master’s level.
Dr. Lica has also spoken at numerous dermatology and aesthetics conferences worldwide, including EADV, AMEC, IMCAS, SRD, FACE, InterCHARM RUSSIA. She has received advanced specialisation in photodynamic therapy through the EADV Fostering Program in Denmark, completed a course in facial microsurgery through the EADV in Romania, and a thread lifting course in Bucharest, Romania. 
Dr. Lica has been recognised for her outstanding contributions to the field of dermatology and aesthetics with several prestigious titles, including “Cosmetologist of the Year” in 2016, 2017, 2018. Most recently, she was awarded the title of “Best Specialist in Aesthetic Medicine” in May 2020, further cementing her position as a leader in her field.
Through her work as the founder and main speaker at Lica.Doctor Beauty Academy, Dr. Lica is dedicated to educating and training the next generation of dermatology and aesthetic medicine specialists, ensuring that patients worldwide continue to receive safe, effective, and high-quality care.
