Biography

Dr Eccleston qualified in Medicine from The University of Birmingham in 1987, and underwent postgraduate dermatology training at the Birmingham Skin Centre and continued to have an active interest in dermatology. Since 1994, he has been working in the field of cosmetic dermatology, having been trained by Professor Jean Carruthers, arguably the first in the world to use Botox as a cosmetic treatment. 

His Interests include the use of injectable Botulinum toxins, Hyaluronic Acid Fillers and management of the complications arising therefrom. Having an in-house Clinical Study facility and dedicated research staff, Dr Eccleston have performed over 20 sponsored studies on 5 different Botulinum toxins, multiple HA fillers and other cosmetic injectables.

International Faculty member of The Allergan Medical Institute, as well as member of advisory boards for Merz, Galderma, Revance, Evolus and other aesthetic dermatology companies, Dr Eccleston is recognized internationally as a trainer and speaker in the field of injectable aesthetic treatments. He is member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine, the British Medical Association and was the Inaugural President of the Society of Cosmetic Physicians and Surgeons, and more recently Dr Eccleston joined the Faculty of the ACE International Complications Management Group.
